Team en Team 2 / Team and Team 2
2022Team bestaande uit een abstract beeld van epoxy en een ruimtelijk miniatuur geven de samenhang van dingen aan. Het ene deel vult het andere aan en de som de delen is groter dan de twee delen apart. De vormen zijn verwant, de kleurstelling geeft de verschillende delen aan. De miniatuur meet 10 x 10 cm en hangt op eniga afstand van het beeld maar zo dat je de delen samen ziet. Team consisting of an abstract epoxy sculpture and a spatial miniature indicate the coherence of things. One part complements the other, and the sum of the parts is greater than the two separate ones. The shapes are related, the colours indicate the different parts. The miniature measures 10 x 10 cm and hangs at some distance from the sculpture but in such a way that you can see the parts together.
Loslaten / Letting go
2021Loslaten begint met opruimen en dat was wat veel mensen het afgelopen Corona jaar deden. Dit beeld is gemaakt van een stapeling van spullen die opgeruimd mochten worden. Bovenop is een ijsvogel geland die elk moment kan wegvliegen. Symbool van de vrijheid en ruimte die door het opruimen is ontstaan........... Letting go starts with cleaning up and that was what many people did this past Corona year. This sculpture is made from a pile of stuff that needed to be cleaned up. On top is a Kingfisher that could fly away at any moment. Symbolof the freedom and space created by cleaning up.

2018Dit golvend sculptuur is gemaakt van acaciahout.De golvende jaarringen worden geaccentueerd door de blauwe afwerking die als een lint de sculptuur omvat. In de diepe glooingen zitten twee bollen met puur ultramarijn pigment.........The undulating sculpture is made of acacia. The blue finish accentuates the shape of the annual rings. In the folds are two bolls with aquamarine pigment .
Exoten
2017De installatie bestaat uit 14 kleine objecten die exotische dieren voorstellen. Waar komen deze rode dieren vandaan? Zijn het indringers die we het liefst kwijt zijn of vormen ze een verrijking voor ons land?........the installation consists of fourteen lettle objects representing exotic animals. Where are they coming from? Make they a threat or a blessing?

Binnenwereld - Buitenwereld /Inner World and World Outside
2016Dualiteit is het thema van dit werk. De glanzende kant van suikeresdoorn en de felblauwe grot vormen de binnenwereld. De buitenwereld heeft zijn weerschijn op het brons bij de uitgang van de grot. Een bronzen figuur staat op het hoogste punt en kijkt wat de buitenwereld te bieden heeft.......The theme of this sculpture is duality. The shining side of the maple and the bright blue cave represent the inner world. The bronze in the cave reflects the light of the world outside. A figure is standing on the highest point of the outside world and looks what the world is offering.
Sirene / Siren
2015Als een sirene komt de bronzen vrouw uit het water omhoog en laat een serie rimpelingen achter. De jaarringen van de acacia lijken op rimpelingen in het water en dat terwijl acaciahout allesbehalve vloeibaar is.......As a siren, the bronze women rises from the water and leaves behind a series of ripples. The annual rings of the acacia resemble ripples in the water and that while acacia wood is anything but liquid.
Wortels / Roots
2015wortel nummer 2 van een installatie met vier hangende objecten. Wortels, in al hun vormen, zijn belangrijk maar je ziet ze meestal niet. Ze geven houvant en sturen levengevende voedingsstoffen naar boven............root number 2 is part of an installation of four hanging objects. Roots and their different forms are important but normally we don't see them.They give hold and bring essential nutriants upwards.
